1. Hapuna Golf Course
In 1997, the U.S. Golf Association named Hapuna "The Course of the Future." This Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed 18-hole championship course is nestled into the dramatic natural contours of the land from the shoreline to about 700 feet above sea level. This beautiful course features spectacular views of the Kohala Coast and the Pacific, with snow-capped Mauna Kea volcano as a backdrop. Hapuna's challenging play and environmental sensitivity make it one of Hawaii's most unique golf courses.

2. Kona Country Club
The Ocean Course -
Built in 1966, this William Bell designed course maintains its charm by incorporating natural settings along the Pacific Ocean and gorgeous mountain views. Be ready to take a picture on our signature holes #3 and #12. Enjoy seeing the grand splash on hole #13 where you will see the blow hole known as “puka” in Hawaiian. Keep a lookout for Humpback whales during November through March. This 18 hole championship course offers wide, lush fairways, Bermuda grass greens and numerous sand bunkers. The only natural obstacles are the turquoise blue water and lava rocks.

The Mountain Course -
With breathtaking panoramic views of the Kona coastline, the Mountain Course has its way of attracting beginners and advanced golfers alike. It features a cool mountain setting, manicured Bermuda greens, elevated tees, numerous bunkers and three lakes. Challenge yourself on the front nine as you experience elevation changes. After reaching the crescendo, all you see is a clear blue ocean, swaying palm trees and a panoramic view from Keauhou to Kona. Take a moment on our par 3, hole #5 and #14. Both holes feature exotic drops from tee to green. Hole 14 is the highest point of the course and is the most picturesque hole. There is a waterfall surrounded by red bougainvillea and black lava rock, scenic lake and miles of ocean as far as the eye can see.

3. Makalei Hawaii Country Club
Situated in the Kona region on the west side of Hawaii Island, known for its cool climates and world famous coffee farms, Makalei boasts an elevation range from 1,800 to 2,850 feet.  The layout is a cool, scenic, lush forest alternative to the island’s coastal golf course experiences.  The temperate climate, lush surrounding forests, and elevation offer a great challenge for golfers of all skill levels.  Several distinctive features on the course include bent grass greens, lava tubes, cinder cones and a stone wall dating back more than a century.

4. Mauna Kea Resort Golf Course
"Mr. Rockefeller, if you allow me to build a golf course here, this'll be the most beautiful hole in the world." Robert Trent Jones, Sr., at the 3rd hole site.

Without changing the essential character of his father's design, Rees Jones Inc. re-planted the championship Course with highly efficient ultra-dwarf Tifeagle Bermudagrass on the greens and Tifway 419 hybrid Bermudagrass on the tees, fairways and roughs. State-of-the-art irrigation systems, liners in the bunkers, and advance drainage improvements keep our Hawaii golf course in top shape and save on environmental resources. As for play, the number of bunkers has been increased to 99, overall yardages have expanded by about 200 yards from the tips, and multiple tees will challenge all levels of players.

5. Mauna Lani Resort Golf Courses
South Course -
Mauna Lani Resort South Course, renown as the former home to the annual Senior Skins Game from 1990 - 2000, snakes through the stark, rugged a'a lava of the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow. The challenging South Course offers the golfer a panorama of mountain and ocean views. The South Course is also home to No. 15, one of the most photographed over-the-water golf course holes in the world.

North Course -
Mauna Lani's North Course represents the quintessential golf experience on the Big Island of Hawaii. Built on a lava bed, the North is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by Kiawe (mesquite) forests.  Number 17, a par three tucked into a natural lava amphitheater, is one of Mauna Lani Resort's signature holes and a favorite "I was here" photo spot. A 230-acre protected archaeological district lies on the northern boundary of the golf course. Herds of feral goats frequent the entire golf course, moving from hole to hole throughout the day.  The North Course has fast become one of the most popular tournament venues on the Island.

Keiki Course -
The entire family can enjoy golf together on Mauna Lani Resort's Keiki Golf Course, designed for junior golfers and children 18 years and younger. The Keiki Course is the only course of its kind in Hawaii. Mauna Lani wants to play a role in encouraging youngsters to learn and enjoy the great game of golf.

The course is designed for junior golfers that have some golf skills but they might not be ready to play our 18-hole championship courses. For beginners who have never played golf, Mauna Lani offers customized lessons at our Golf Academy.

6. Waikoloa Resort Golf Courses
The Beach Course -
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Beach Course at Waikoloa winds its way along historic lava flows near Anaehoomalu Bay. Emerald fairways and immaculate greens are well-guarded by the uniquely contrasting combination of white sand bunkers, simmering blue lakes and the every present black lava flows. It’s an enjoyable sensory experience you simply won’t find anywhere else in the world.
While the sights please your eyes and the trade winds tickle your senses, the strategic layout will challenge your skills and your mind. Generous from the tee, with large greens and low-lipped bunkers this is a course that can truly be enjoyed by the occasional player while providing all the challenged need for the most avid or skilled player from the back tees.

The King's Course -
On Hawaii's Big Island, there are miles and miles of lava fields that stretch from the Kona-Keahole Airport for almost 30 miles up the Kona-Kohala Coast. Many  Hawaiians consider this land  sacred and powerful. Accordingly, the Kings’ Trail, which runs through the heart of the lava from Kona, up the coast to Pu'ukohola Heiau, contains several areas which were most powerful and sacred of all.
Designed by the world famous team of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish the 7,074 yard Kings’ course meanders over and around the ancient black lava flow, and its wide, undulating fairways are framed by palm trees and vibrant flowers of Hawaii. The Kings' Course plays inland towards the ancient mountain of Mauna Kea, ever present in the distance. The course is a strategic layout that requires a player to think his way around the course. Multiple tee placements, strategic lakes and challenging pot bunkers add complexity to the experience.

7. Waimea Country Club
Waimea Country Club is located in upcountry Waimea; this golf course provides a comfortable cool climate. This Scottish links design is set with views of both the ocean and Mauna Kea. Our golf course is a great golfing escape where you will find some of the finest bent greens in the Hawaiian Islands. The course was built on pasturelands, surrounded by cattle ranches and is wide open, yet there are many Ironwood trees that can affect your golf shots. As you play, you will enjoy observing the wild turkeys, pheasant and ducks. This is not your typical Hawaiian resort golf course.
