And it is the only location where Trilogy actually picks up and drops off guests directly from the beach. Some of the best Maui snorkel sites are only a few miles away and our crew will choose the best destination for that day. Trilogy's experienced and dedicated crew are masters of teaching first time snorkelers. And, if you're an old pro and want an underwater experience that goes beyond snorkeling, you may want to upgrade to  *SNUBA*, one of the most popular upgrades.
Trilogy provides all the snorkeling equipment and instruction, wet suits for everyone onboard, breakfast, lunch, soda and snacks, and that personalized service you've come to expect from Maui's first family of sailing.
With those famous Maui Trade Winds just a few hundred yards off shore, our crew wastes no time in hoisting sail and getting into some serious sailing!
Finally, even if you are not staying on or near Ka‘anapali beach, our later morning departures give you plenty of time to make the drive from any part of the island.

Trilogy departs from Lahaina Harbor at around 10 am (occasionally offering a sunrise departure at 6:30am) and start your day with an island style breakfast of Mom's homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice and seasonal fruit. Deli snacks are also served on-board during the one and a half hour sail to this very special island (10am departure only). Because Trilogy is the only company with permission to bring guests to Hulopo’e Marine preserve, we pay close attention to both your safety and comfort. The Trilogy crew, as well as the island born Beach Boys, are trained in CPR and First Aid, and are experts at insuring your safety in and out of the water. Besides swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, beach volleyball, and the increasingly popular *SNUBA*, Trilogy also offers a guided tour of Lana‘i's historic plantation town narrated by island born and raised Hawaiian Cultural Guides. Trilogy's Kiawe wood BBQ dinner, served at the Hale O Manele over looking Manele Bay, is considered by many to be one of the best in Hawai‘i!

For many, to snorkel Molokini crater is a "must-do" on their Maui vacation. Trilogy goes to two snorkeling sites rather than just one. Not only does this give guests additional variety it is our way of avoiding some of the crowds. Trilogy provides all snorkel equipment including instruction and wetsuits. "In the footsteps of Royalty"—Over two hundred years ago 'King Kamehameha the Great' chose the southern coast of Lanai as his summer retreat and a playground for Alii and the royal family. The pristine waters of Kaunolu and Kaumalapau teamed with tropical fish, lava tubes hid an abundant supply of lobsters and eels, and the playful and ever present Spinner Dolphins were never very far away. A Sanctuary Dedicated to the Endangered Humpback Whale and its Habitat
The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is dedicated to protecting the Endangered Humpback Whale and its Habitat. Trilogy is an official sponsor of the Whale Sanctuary and has been involved in supporting and promoting the goals of the Sanctuary since its inception. Captain Jim Coon was the first Chairman of the Sanctuary Advisory Council (SAC) and served as such for almost a decade (Jim is still actively involved helping to determine the management plan and direction of the SAC).
On this two hour whale watch out of either LAHAINA, KAANAPALI or MAALAEA , Trilogy is dedicated to sharing accurate information about the Endangered Humpback Whale and its habitat with our guests through our on-board naturalists. Trilogy's goal is to give guests a meaningful encounter with these magnificent creatures without disturbing their behavior while following the Sanctuary Whale Watching Guidelines (recognizing the approach limits of 100 Yards). Trilogy has Hydrophones on board so you are often able to hear the Whales sing their incredible songs.
